It was that time of year again when team Crusher headed down north east of the boarder to play a bit of rugby and to participate in the legendry drinking Olympics, at the Bull’s annual bash. First game for team Crushers at 10:45 Saturday morning was the formidable Ulster Barbarians and indeed, it was a real baptism of fire, resulting in a defeat for the team. Next up was RGC at 15:40 which also was a real tough game. That evening it was on to a local working man’s club where the bulls had some pies and drinking games laid on. It was the obligatory late night followed by an early morning. There was more than a few hangovers as the Crusher played their first game against Yorkshire at 9:00am before taking on the Bulls at midday. As usually the Bulls put on a great spread, looked after us all and made sure the craic kept flowing.
