In 2010 I originally was diagnosed with unspecified muscular dystrophy, then in 2015 this was rediagnosed as dysferlinopathy. It had a huge impact on my life as I was very active and a keen footballer which I had to give up. Then in September of 2013 I heard about the Caledonian Crushers from a friend through Facebook and haven’t looked back since then. I love playing sports again and having that sporting mentality getting used again, meeting new people and making new friends who also have common interests and goals. I’m enjoying getting fitter, crashing into opposition and taking out my frustrations at times.
